It's time for the next stage of Yarnologie

It's time for the next stage of Yarnologie

Over time I've learned that letting things grow and evolve takes courage, patience and a good deep breath.
I learned that when I took Yarnologie from a digital magazine to a print issue. In a time when magazines are choosing to go from print to digital media, going in the opposite direction was a risky move. It has been so worth it.

And now Yarnologie is ready to grow into the next stage and I'm so excited (and a little nervous) to share that with you.

As you know, Volume 5 was set to be published in November this year. After a lot of reflection, dreaming and planning, I'm making the bold move to postpone publishing this next edition.
This is by no means the end of Yarnologie but a big step toward where I really want it to go as a publication in the next 12 months.

Yarnologie will continue to be a collection of stories from the people who grow, make and create with yarn. It will still be printed locally here in Queensland, Australia, on high-quality paper. However, this next edition will be a little different.

I'm planning on publishing the next edition in Autumn/Winter 2024.

I've got a lot of things I want to do with this next issue, and I'll share peeks of those over the coming months as I take the time to collect and craft each story.

Yarnologie has always been so much more than a magazine and I'm excited to be taking this step that will move it deeper into the journal/book space.
Making changes is never easy and doesn't come free of nerves or worries. But I'm so very excited to be making this change and I can't wait to bring this new version to life.

Thank you for your ongoing love for what we create. I'll be spending the next several months continuing to create the Yarnologie you love, but also adding to it in new ways that will make it even better.

If you have any questions about this change or feedback you'd like to share, we always love hearing from you!
Due to this change we are currently closed for submissions.
