Yarn Call Out - Closed

UPDATE: This call out is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who got in touch!

We have a need for some yarn for one of the articles we're working on in Volume 2. Please see the below information if you think you've got the yarn we need!

Yarn Call Out
We're working on an article and require some yarn models. We need beautiful skeins/balls/hanks and we'll also be making some sample swatches with these yarns.
What we're looking for:

  • Worsted spun yarn. It must be worsted spun, not semi-worsted
  • Woollen spun yarn
  • Yarn can be a commercial brand you stock in your store or from your own hand-dyed label. We're open to both!
  • We're also open to accepting handspun yarns
  • The selected yarns will need to be mailed to us quickly (in February), therefore you need to have them in stock and ready to ship at the time of application.
  • We're looking for applications for both worsted spun and woollen spun yarn; you can provide 1 or both!

How to apply:
Please contact us with the subject line Yarn Call Out Application & the below information:

  • The name of the yarn you're submitting (brand, style name, etc)
  • Which category it fits (woollen or worsted spun)
  • The name of your yarn store or the name of your company, if the yarn is under your own label
  • If possible, a link to where the yarn can be viewed online so that we can select a suitable colour. If you don't have a website, please attach a photo

Please note: As we're using these yarns for photography and swatching purposes, the yarn will not be returned to you. For most instances, we will require only 1 skein but we may need up to 3 skeins.
Proper credit will be given in the article with the names of the yarn and where it is available for purchase, if applicable. (i.e Maker's Yarn by WoolBrand, available from myyarnshop.com.au).
For more information or to apply, please contact us.
